In 2015 Robert A. Furlani, BS, joined the School of Public
Health and Health Professions as training coordinator for the MPH
Program. In this role, Furlani coordinates MPH field placement
activities, identifies new field sites, strengthens relationships
with existing sites, matches students to sites and helps prepare
students for field training.
In addition to his role as MPH program training coordinator, Furlani also serves as a research assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health, providing guest lectures for various public health classes.
Prior to joining the School of Public Health and Health Professions, Furlani worked for the New York State Department of Health for more than 30 years, most recently serving as assistant regional director for the Western Region.
