We support the school’s research and academic missions by
providing a strong information technology infrastructure for
faculty, staff and students.
In addition to providing computer and network support, we manage the public computer lab located in 113 Kimball Tower; a plotter used for printing posters, signs and banners; and audio/video equipment.
Our resources for faculty include online education tools—Blackboard on UBLearns, a course management system, and CoursEval, a web-based survey administration software package.
Our policies apply to the entire school, while UB Information Technology maintains additional policies that apply to the university as a whole.
Learn how to access the files you need from off campus, including via a remote desktop connection, how to download software and how to manage your computer and data safety.
Our team of IT professionals is happy to assist faculty, staff and students.
