From the Interim Dean

We combine the success and traditions of the university's School of Health Related Professions and the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. We train using an integrated approach, based on a public health and population perspective that focuses on prevention, wellness, and evidence-based practice.

We offer degrees at undergraduate, graduate, professional, and doctorate levels. We have collaborations with the practicing community of Western New York in several disciplines and have numerous affiliation agreements with local and national practitioners to provide students with broad opportunities of learning during their clinical experiences. We are engaged in both research and practice initiatives on important public health issues.  The School of Public Health and Health Professions, through its efforts of curriculum integration and its support of interdisciplinary work, is an exciting place to study and work.

Our present and future holds exciting opportunities.  Please explore our website and see for yourself.
