Research Opportunities

Our program combines a solid background in theoretical coursework with practical training, including public health studies, basic science research and clinical trials.

In addition to opportunities to collaborate with faculty members and community partners, including Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) and the Gynecological Oncology Group, on research projects, you will learn to design, conduct, analyze, interpret and discuss original, independent research.

Career Opportunities

As a graduate, you will be prepared for a variety of advanced positions with high-earning potential, including as:

  • A faculty member or researcher in academia
  • A collaborative researcher at health research institutes, government  agencies, international non-governmental organizations, pharmaceutical or health care companies
  • A consultant with contract research organizations or consulting firms
