Biostatistics MPH

In the program, you will learn to:

  • Use statistical techniques in scientific studies to identify the causes of diseases and injuries
  • Evaluate public health programs
  • Design mathematical models that describe the progression of diseases in populations

Combined Degree Programs

We offer a combined degree program where you can earn an MPH/MD in less time and fewer credits than each degree individually. This program allows you to integrate a prevention- and population-focused approach to health with your medical education.

Additionally, for physicians, UB’s Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health offers a Combined Internal Medicine - Preventive Medicine Residency Program The program includes an academic phase which can lead to an MPH degree in the biostatistics concentration.
