Research Opportunities

You will have numerous opportunities to work closely with faculty members on methodological, theoretical and applied research projects. You will also work with departments and schools throughout the university, as well as our community partners, including Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) and the Gynecological Oncology Group.

Career Opportunities

As a graduate, you will be prepared for pursuing a PhD degree or for direct entry into the workplace in a variety of positions, including as:

  • A collaborative researcher at health research institutes, government  agencies, international non-governmental organizations, pharmaceutical or health care companies
  • A consultant with contract research organizations or consulting firms

Our graduates are currently employed at Georgetown University Medical Center, University of Pittsburgh, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Baystate Medical Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and BlueCross BlueShield among others.
