Profile
Dr. Gaile is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics
at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Gaile's duties include methodological
research in statistics, collaborative biostatistical research,
grant and manuscript writing, teaching of undergraduate and
graduate level statistics/biostatistics courses, and the supervision
of graduate students. His primary research interests include
quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping, array comparative genomic
hybridization (aCGH) analysis, microarray analysis, radiation
hybrid (RH) mapping, nonparametric statistics, bootstrap methods,
finite mixture models, hidden Markov models and software development.
Dr. Gaile also serves as a consultant to the Departments of
Biostatistics and Cancer Genetics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute
(50% effort) as well as the Gynecologic Oncology Group (5%
effort).
Research Interests
