For highly qualified applicants, we offer an accelerated 12-month course of study that culminates with an MPH degree.
Applicants must have a terminal degree (MD, PhD, JD, etc.) or significant post-baccalaureate public health work experience to be considered for the accelerated program.
Applicants who do not possess a terminal degree, or who have no prior post-baccalaureate experience working in a healthcare organization qualify for the standard MPH only.
Our rigorous program is geared towards those applicants who can devote 12 consecutive months to intensive public health course work and related field placement and Culminating Project requirements. This means students need to take courses during summer and/or winter sessions, as well as traditional fall & spring semesters. Given this rigorous program condenses two years of study into one, students should devote themselves to this program full time.
