Project name: Witnessing for Mental Health: Piloting a Novel Outreach Program to Address Mental Health Needs in Underserved Communities
Project goals: This is a pilot study to adapt The Witness Project's successful community outreach model to a culturally tailored intervention called Witnessing for Mental Health. Through community engagement, this study aims to promote mental health education and awareness, reduce stigma, and improve well-being in the Black community!
Project tasks: Students may be responsible for developing and organizing materials, data entry and quality controlling data entries, assisting in community events and any other tasks related to the study project.
Duration of research experience: Summer and Fall
Time commitment: 10 hours per week
Will this be in person or remote: In person, 3rd floor of Diefendorf Hall South campus and community health centers involved in the study
