  • Micro-Credential in Facilitating Learning in the Health Professions

    Skills you need. Proof you have them. The Facilitating Learning in the Health Professions micro-credential is an opportunity for student assistants in the School of Public Health and Health Professions to gain skills in course development and pedagogy. You will gain competencies in using a learning management system and will be exposed to a variety of teaching best practices.
  • Micro-Credential in Strategies for Eliminating Health Inequities
    5/16/23
    The micro-credential provides a means to develop skills and a knowledge base for addressing health inequities. Developed for the non-profit and for-profit communities and open to anyone who has completed an undergraduate degree (including all UB graduate students), this program consists of two courses and a portfolio-building experience.
  • Alcohol Research Training Program

    The National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) research training program on Alcohol Etiology and Treatment features both postdoctoral and predoctoral opportunities for scholars interested in alcohol use and misuse, as well as in the treatment of alcohol use disorders.

  • Advisement

    You will be assigned a faculty advisor to assist in planning a program that meets your educational goals and to answer questions relating to graduate studies. The advisor will also assist you in selecting your field training experience placement site and chair your MPH culminating project. You should plan to consult with your advisor before registration each semester. If you do not know who your advisor is, please contact the graduate program coordinator at sphhp-chhb-mph@buffalo.edu.
