We participate in interdisciplinary research collaborations within the University at Buffalo and with local, regional, national and international organizations, including Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Our faculty researchers are investigating critical health issues, including maternal and child health, substance use and abuse, aging, assistive technology and the epidemiology of chronic diseases such as cancer.
Through a range of research initiatives and centers, the School of Public Health and Health Professions is contributing to improved health for populations, communities and individuals.
The School of Public Health and Health Professions houses 29 clinical research laboratories, including the full-service Center for Health Research.
