At UB's Nutrition and Health Research Laboratory, we study the influence of food and food additives on all eating and drinking behaviors in humans.
studies include investigating the effects of soda
additives on beverage preferences, working memory and
salivation as well as determining the effects of aerobic exercise
on food reinforcement.
Past studies have explored the relationship between ingredients in sports drinks and one's perception toward exercise, the factors that influence food reinforcement in obese and non-obese adults, and the effects of chewing gum on eating habits.
