Applying to the Professional Portion

Occupation Therapy intended majors must apply and be admitted to the professional portion of the program.

Who Should Apply?

UB students enrolled as OT intended majors who want to continue in the five-year BS/MS program and who have completed all required prerequisite.

When Should I Apply?

The application opens Dec. 28.

Students are expected to submit their applications by Jan. 12 of the year in which they plan to begin the professional portion.

What Happens After I Apply?

  • Once you submit the Occupational Therapy Graduate School Application, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that your application has been received.
  • All applications are reviewed by the OT Professional Program Admissions Committee.
  • You will be notified of the admission committee’s decision by the end of March.
