Clinical/field placements
Many students have learned that their clinical or field placements have been suspended or canceled. Program directors for all affected programs are working to determine next steps. Please make sure you are in touch with your program's director or clinical coordinator.
If you are considering or have been admitted to UB, please know that the university is open and fully functional.
Temporary Work Assignments
By direction from the NYS Governor’s office, effective March 17, 2020, and until further notice, all non-essential SUNY employees shall be assigned to perform their work-related duties and responsibilities from alternate work locations, via telecommuting. This affects many, but not all, of our faculty and staff.
All SPHHP faculty and staff should consult with their supervisors, and submit a completed Temporary Work Assignment/Location Plan form if they are requesting to work remotely for any portion of their time.
Additional information and guidance regarding remote work is available on the UB HR website.
