Research Interests: biological impact of toxic metals on humans, environmental contaminants, generation and use of laboratory data in research studies


Dr. Kostyniak is Professor and Chair, Department of Biotechnical and Clinical Laboratory Sciences, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo. He is Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

Dr. Kostyniak is also Director of the Toxicology Research Center. The Toxicology Research Center (TRC) is an interdisciplinary research and teaching program which applies the expertise of toxicologists, pharmacologists, chemists, acquatic biologists, biochemists, pathologists, epidemiologists, geologists and physicians to basic and applied research problems in toxicology.
