Professional Summary

Kristina Young, MS has 24 years’ experience as a health services administrator. In a county department of health, she was assistant director of an epidemiology and disease control unit and Director of maternal, child health and family planning programs. She also has served in executive capacities for a women’s health organization, two hospitals, a health plan and a regional public health organization. Young also owns a management consulting and training firm. For 22 years, she has taught in UB’s Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health and for the Schools of Law and Management; for 6 years she taught for the Canisius College Department of Health and Human Performance.
