Dennis Horrigan has been with Independent Health for the past 15 years, now currently Vice President, Managed Care Development, Independent Health, Buffalo, New York. Some of his areas of expertise are: Negotiated contracts with 26 hospitals in WNY; developed/designed hospital captiation contracts with health systems; negotiated multi-million dollar pharmacy contracts with pharmacy chains; managed hospital physician/ancillary reimbursements; trained IHA management staff in quality improvement/ process management concepts; developed population-focused quality improvement programs for asthma, diabetes, prenatal care and preventive health.
