Dr. Rudra completed her MPH at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in 2001. She moved to Seattle to pursue her PhD at University of Washington, received it in 2005, and remained at UW for an 18 month postdoctoral appointment with Dr. Michelle Williams. She joined the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health as an Assistant Professor in August 2007. She is a perinatal epidemiologist with an interest in both behavioral and environmental exposures. Dr. Rudra left the department in August 2011 and is a Research Scientist at Independent Health.
