Professional Summary

Yibin Liu, PhD, is a public health nutritionist with training in environmental health and human nutrition. She completed her postdoctoral research in community nutrition and epidemiology at Purdue University in the Department of Nutrition Science before joining the faculty at UB. She collaborates with a team of Extension faculty and educators across six states in the Midwest. Her research involves implementing and evaluating multi-level and community-based interventions to improve food security, diet, and health among low-resource populations and rural communities.
