Postdoctoral Fellow, Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch, Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics, National Cancer Institute, 2003-2005
Profile
Dr. Matthew Bonner joined the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine as Assistant Professor in 2005. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Branch, Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services.
Research Interests
Dr. Bonner's research primarily focuses on the roles
of occupational/environmental exposures and genetic susceptibility
in the development of cancer. In particular, he conducts research
investigating occupational exposure to pesticides and cancer,
exposure to ambient air pollution and breast cancer, and genetic
susceptibility to lung cancer from residential radon and polycyclic
aromatic hydrocarbon exposure.
