Profile
Dr. Arbesman is a practicing dermatologist and Vice President of ArbesIdeas, a health-related research and development company. ArbesIdeas merges expertise in epidemiology, the creative problem solving process, medicine and healthcare to develop innovative solutions to health-related challenges. Dr. Arbesman teaches Clinical Epidemiology to dermatology residents in the Department of Dermatology, University at Buffalo.

Research Interests
Dr. Arbesman is currently involved in a research project in conjunction with Columbia University studying an ALS biomarker that he developed. He is also in the process of developing a new Tuberculosis Diagnostic Test for use in developing countries. In addition, Dr. Arbesman and his wife, Dr. Marian Arbesman, President of ArbesIdes have developed a new research model related to innovation in medicine and the development of new biomedical hypotheses. This research model combines the use of epidemiology, computational scientific discovery and creative problem solving.
