Proposal Routing and Submission

Before a grant proposal can be submitted to the sponsoring agency, it must be reviewed and approved by a number of individuals.  The process of obtaining these approvals is referred to as "routing" the proposal.  The University has created two mechanisms by which proposals are routed—the "green sheet" and the Electronic Sponsored Projects Approval System (ESPAS).  However, all SPHHP Principal Investigators are required to route proposals via the ESPAS system for all proposals due on or after October 1, 2006.
