New Rates for SPHHP Computer Services

SPHHP IT Services, at the request of the Controller's office, has recalculated IT service center rates, by department, for the calendar year January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007.
Effective immediately, please use the following rates in all budgets for extramural research support. The manner in which the rate is applied remains unchanged; i.e., the amount of the charge is equivalent to Rate X Employee FTE. The significant difference is that if your budget includes SPHHP faculty/staff from different departments, the rate used will vary.

| Social and Preventive Medicine: | $1,200 |
FYI, grants will be charged the rate that was in effect at the time the proposal was submitted. That is, if a grant is awarded with a budget using the old rate of $1,585 per FTE, that is the rate at which that particular grant will be charged.
