Summary

Susan E. Bennett, PT, DPT, Ed.D, NCS, MSCS is a clinical professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Science in the School of Public Health and Health Professions, and in the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University at Buffalo.

Bennett earned her undergraduate in physical therapy from Daemen College in Buffalo, New York. She received her masters in science in health science education and doctor of education degree in health behavioral sciences from the State University of New York at Buffalo, followed by her doctor of physical therapy degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.

Bennett has been a principal investigator or co-investigator in several key clinical trials, as well as an invited presenter or lecturer at numerous medical conferences, both nationally and internationally.

As author or co-author, Bennett's work has been published in many leading medical journals, including Multiple Sclerosis, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabiliation, International Journal of Multiple Sclerosis Care and the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Bennett is currently past president of the Consortium of MS Centers [CMSC]. In addition to serving as president of the CMSC, Bennett served as treasure, chair of the Rehabilitation Research Interest Group and project director of the International Organization of MS Rehabilitation Therapists. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the American Academy of Neurology.
