Prerequisite Courses

You will complete 12 prerequisite courses in the first two years, or the pre-professional phase, of your BS/MS program.

You must earn a grade of “C” or better in all courses and a minimum GPA of 2.8 to be eligible to apply to the professional sequence of the program. Also, you must complete 8 prerequisite courses prior to applying to the professional sequence. These must include OT 201, ES 207, STA 119, and Phy 101. You must complete the remaining prerequisite courses before entering the professional sequence.

In addition to the prerequisite courses, you will complete UB’s Curriculum requirements in preparation for the professional sequence of the program.

Advisement for Transfer Students and Newly Declared Majors
