MPH program, epidemiology and biostatistics concentration
I wanted to study public health before going to medical school, or before going into an epidemiology PhD program. It has been an exciting opportunity to get involved in health as an alternative and complement to medicine. In my field placement, I worked with a Roswell Park Cancer Institute faculty member surveying drug and alcohol use among Erie and Niagara County ninth graders. We will crunch the data and compare it with national data. It was a great opportunity to get out and work with the community.
