MPH/Preventive Medicine Residency Program
I spent a year in an internal medicine residency program dealing with patients in a hospital environment and I saw that there were opportunities for preventive approaches to health problems that were left aside. I decided to orient myself toward a more preventive approach. The MPH portion of my preventive medicine residency has expanded my knowledge, especially in statistics, and it has opened opportunities in health services administration and quality improvement. I've loved every single class I've taken. This is a wonderful program.
