Occupational Therapy BS/MS program
I worked for two years as a certified occupational therapy assistant. I'm in this degree program because I want to write the treatment plan, not just carry it out.
I like the fact that all the faculty are approachable; class sizes in the program are small. I can get help whenever I need it. I'm never intimidated in class. I like the amount of public speaking we do; we need to be confident speakers because we speak as in-service trainers and on other occasions. I like the volunteer work we can do at community centers; and I like the opportunity we have to work with people with disabilities from the community who come to our classes.
