Public Health Practice

The Office of Public Health Practice serves as major interface with the health care community, including the identification, cultivation, and expantion of relationships with health departments, providers, managed care organizations, and community organizations.

Objectives

  • Develop meaningful collaborations and partnerships
    • To promote health
    • Provide opportunities for research
    • Provide supervised educational experiences for students
  • Facilitate development of the Public Health Observatory
  • Present educational programs on public health topics for students and professionals in the community
  • Support development of relationships with other schools at UB and in the community
  • Provide career counseling and guidance for public health students
