Profile
Dr. Rowe currently serves as the Director of the Office of Public Health Practice and the Public Health Liaison for the School of Public Health and Health Professions. He holds a Clinical Assistant Professor adjunct appointment in the Department of Family Medicine.  Dr. Rowe was formerly the Public Health Director for the Genesee County Health Department, the Chief Biologist and the Principle Public Health Microbiologist for the Erie County Public Health Laboratory where he held laboratory certifications in Rabies Virology, Inherited Metabolic Diseases, Serology and Parasitology.  Dr. Rowe is the recipient of the Outstanding Leadership in Public Health award from the NYS Public Health Association and the recipient of the Public Health Professional of the Year award from the NYS Association of County Health Officials.

Research Interests
Current interests include public health collaborations and partnerships, public health emergency preparedness, environmental health and children with special health care needs.
