Profile
Dr. Bertram is the director of the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at the School of Public Health and Health Professions. Dr. Bertram led the development of the MPH degree program. He teaches Principles of Public Health, History and Philosophy of Public Health, and the MPH Integrative Project; manages the field training (internship) program for MPH students and the Medical Administrative Clerkship for medical students; and advises many of the MPH students.

Research Interests
Dr. Bertram's research interests have included physician manpower, in particular physician specialty and career choices, and physician mental workload as it would apply to the development of physician reimbursement methodologies.
