Congratulations to the Western New York Public Health (WNYPH) Alliance for being named a model infrastructure practice in Rural Healthy People 2010. The Alliance was formed to provide a forum to discuss public health issues that cross county boundaries within the western New York region. The Alliance is comprised of the commissioners and directors of public health from eight county health departments in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming.
