the MMWR club

This is a voluntary discussion club for students interested in exploring the current "hot topics" in public health. The MMWR (Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a.k.a. the CDC) is the primary but not only source for current articles on topical public health issues. Another source is the CDC Public Health Law News. Faculty are usually present to augment discussions with real world experiences.
