Computer Support and Network Facilities
The School of Public Health and Health Professions is currently comprised of five departments and three multi-disciplinary research centers with approximately 100 faculty, 100 staff and 600 students. These individuals work on more than 350 personal computers, approximately a dozen UNIX/Linux Workstations and more than 180 printers. There is one public computer lab (72 PC's) and four graduate computer labs. Most personal computers run the Windows XP operating systems while the UNIX workstations run Solaris 9.0. The School utilizes twelve servers to manage student, faculty, and staff accounts as well as data, email, print, phone systems, and research projects.
