UB’s Civic Engagement and Public Policy research
initiative is co-sponsoring a community forum on July 9 aimed at
creating cross-sector, interdisciplinary approaches to problems in
education, health and equity.

Howard L. Wolfsohn, who practiced dentistry in Buffalo for
nearly 60 years and taught UB dental students for more than 30,
died June 28 after he became ill in his family’s summer home
in Waverly Beach, Ont. He was 88.
The Office of University Communications and the School
of Management were recognized for excellence by the Public

Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) 2015 Innovation in
Karl Fiebelkorn, senior associate dean in the School of
Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and associate professor of
pharmacy practice, was elected director of public policy of the
board of directors of the Western Chapter New York State Council of
