SUNY Buffalo Awarded NIH Grant to Prevent Falls in Older Adults

The University at Buffalo SUNY School of Public Health and Health Professions has been awarded a two-year, $431,628 grant from the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health for a study aimed at improving adherence to home exercise regimes and preventing falls in older adults. Dr. Machiko Tomita, clinical associate professor of rehabilitation science and director of aging and research, is the principal investigator.
