SUNY Buffalo’s Ren Receives Society of Toxicology’s Publication Award

Dr. Xuefeng Ren, assistant professor of social and preventive medicine at University at Buffalo SUNY School of Public Health and Health Professions, is the recipient of the Society of Toxicology’s (SOT) 2012 Best Postdoctoral Publication Award. Dr. Ren will receive the award for his first-authored publication, Involvement of N-6 Adenine-Specific DNA Methyltransferasel 1 (N6AMT1) in Arsenic Biomethylation and Its Role in Arsenic-Induced Toxicity, at the 2012 SOT Annual Meeting. The publication’s research findings were supported by an NIH/NIEHS grant, awarded to Dr. Martyn Smith at University of California, Berkeley.
