SUNY Buffalo Discusses Obesity and Chronic Disease as Part of Distinguished Lecture

On November 4, the University at Buffalo SUNY School of Public Health and Health Professions held its annual 23rd J. Warren Perry Award and Distinguished Lectureship. This year’s lecture, entitled “The Road to Good Health is Paved with Good InVentions,” was given by Dr. David L. Katz, an internationally recognized authority on nutrition, weight management, and the prevention of chronic disease, and a leader in integrative medicine and patient-centered care.  He discussed his evidence-based, holistic care approach to medicine, nutrition, weight control and the prevention of chronic diseases.
