The 5th Saxon Graham Lecturer was James Marshall, PhD, senior
vice president for cancer prevention and population sciences at
Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Marshall is an internationally renowned researcher in the area of nutritional epidemiology. His unique and creative perspective has had an important impact on how we think about the contribution of diet and nutrition to chronic diseases especially cancer. His work has focused both on methods of assessment and on dietary interventions to prevent cancer. Recently serving as the president of the American Society for Preventive Oncology, he is the senior vice president for cancer prevention and population sciences at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and professor of social and preventive medicine.
