Public Computing Lab

The computer lab in Cary 235 is maintained by the School of Public Health and Health Professions. Classes may be held throughout the semester, otherwise the lab is open for general student use (assignments, software access, printing, email, etc.). The lab is open to all faculty and students.

Cary 235 Specifications

  • Computers: 50 PCs running Windows™ 7 all with flat panel monitors
  • Software: Microsoft Office™ applications, SAS, SPSS, R, Endnote, Nutritionist Pro, Stata is available on some computers
  • Printer: Laserjet Black & White
  • Days/Hours: 
    • Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
    • Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Supervised: Yes--Student Assistants and Security Cameras

Reserving the Lab for Teaching

Please reserve PC Labs for classroom activities. All reservations should be submitted to Keith Conroy at krconroy@buffalo.edu and should not be considered scheduled until you receive a written email confirmation. Please plan ahead to secure space and mention "Cary 235 Scheduling" in the subject line for priority handing.
