Advertising Events and Seminars

All school-sponsored events and seminars should be included in the school's online calendaring system. If an event is not already on the online calendar, it should be submitted there first. In addition to feeding the online calendar, this system is also the source of record for the school's digital signage and weekly events emails. Posting should occur at least two weeks in advance of the event. If full details are not available at that time, the event should be posted with all available details and updated as additional details become available.

Submission Guidelines

  • Provide your requests at least two weeks in advance of the posting start date.
  • File size fits a standard PowerPoint slide, within 720 pixels wide x 540 pixels high, or 10” x 7.5”. Tiff, png, or jpg files accepted and will be compress as needed. Color or black and white images are both acceptable.
  • Requests for items to be included in the digital signage rotation should be directed to sphhp-signage@buffalo.edu, subject line ‘digital display posting request’.
  • Department seminars and events need only be submitted to the online calendar for inclusion on the "Upcoming Seminars" and current day's events listing.

Photography

The school can assist in arranging professional photography.

The Photo and Promotional Release Form should be used to obtain consent from all recognizable individuals in a photo for all photography.

Video

The school can produce in-house video of seminars, student/graduate testimonials, etc., and can also assist in arranging professional videos through the Center for the Arts. Contact  Caryn Sobieski-VanDelinder for details.
