Dr. Noe currently serves as Associate Dean for Community Relations and Clinical Affairs and is Director of the Residency Program in General Preventive Medicine for the School of Public Health and Health Professions. He is also a member of the Division of Geriatrics, Department of Medicine. Dr. Noe was formerly the Executive Vice President and Medical Director of the Buffalo General Hospital and Health System and, more recently, a Vice President and Medical Director in the Kaleida Health System in Buffalo, NY. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine at Tulane University Medical Center and Veterans Hospital in New Orleans LA and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Preventive Medicine and the American Board of Medical Management.
Current interests include graduate training of physicians in Preventive Medicine; medical management, with a particular interest in quality improvement in healthcare; geriatric medicine, with a particular interest in long term care; and addressing the health risks of those in the informal (family) caregiver role through structured interventions using psycho-educational methods to improve their psychological health and self-care.
