Dr. Gall is Reginal Entomologist, Arthropod-borne Disease Program, New York State Department of Health, Western Regional Office, Buffalo, NY. Previously he was Curator of Entomology, Buffalo Museum of Science.
Dr. Gall as Reginal Entomolgist provides technical assistance to local health departments in 17 western counties of New York State on surveillance, identification, and control of mosquitoes, ticks, and other medically important arthropods. He also conducts research on medically important arthropods. Dr. Gall is involved in outreach activities, such as identifying ticks and other arthropods for the public, responding to public inquiries, conducting in-services, and presenting natural history programs.
