EEH 576 Epidemiologic Applications of Occupational Health

3 Credits, Spring Semester

Prerequisites: EEH 501, EEH 502 and EEH 505 (or STA 527 for HSA concentration)

Introduction to the role of occupational factors in the etiology of diseases. Includes an overview of the occupational health problem and an introductory understanding of the biology, epidemiology and detection of occupational disease. Selected occupational health problems and issues are presented. Epidemiologic applications are emphasized, including data sources, agency and organizational resources, industrial hygiene and research methodology.
