Application Information

Admission Requirements

All MS applicants need a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of undergraduate work and must also submit recent scores on the Graduate Record Examination.

Nutrition Science applicants should have college preparation in nutrition, chemistry, mathematics, biology and biochemistry. There is an opportunity for students to correct some deficiencies in preparation, but applicants should realize that this may prolong their time enrolled in the program. Interested students may be permitted to register for graduate level courses on a nonmatriculated basis.

Clinical Nutrition applicants must be registered dietitians and have had at least one year of appropriate clinical experience.

FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid is available through the University's Office of Financial Aid. In addition, a limited number of Teaching Assistants are offered through the department. The Department is also home to the Rachman Scholarship Program that is awarded in the Spring of each year on a competitive basis.
