Exercise Science PhD
Program Description
Graduate programs in exercise science at the University at Buffalo are research oriented. It's the quality of our research that brings doctoral students to our program. The areas of emphasis available in the Ph.D. program include Applied Physiology and Nutrition.
The PhD program requires the completion of a minimum of 72 credit hours of course work, including dissertation, beyond the baccalaureate degree. Transfer credits from the masters degree may not exceed 36 credit hours. For a review of program goals, mission statement and program description, see the ES program handbook.
