A UB alumnus, Brendan is an Assistive Technology Professional who helps increase the well-being and independence of people with disabilities through increasing access to technology solutions.
With expertise in a wide range of Assistive Technology (AT), Brendan has worked with college age and K-12 students, employers/employees in various fields, counselors, educators, parents, advocates, professionals, and agencies, to address context-specific client needs, bridging performance gaps with AT. Brendan’s specific area of expertise is adapting mainstream platforms, hardware, and applications, to accessible use.
Brendan has substantial experience working with people exploring their capabilities with disabilities, and has helped to identify individual targets for personal and environmental function, recommend appropriate solutions, and train toward successful implementation of those solutions. He has presented on AT at conferences, worked alongside self-advocates and self-advocate groups, and helped raise general awareness of AT in his community.
