Kimberly provides Assistive Technology (AT) services for the New York State Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped (CBVH) and NYS Adult Career & Continuing Education Services-Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR), school districts and employers.
She has expertise in the combination of input and output technologies, customization for individual needs, and in integration into various environments, including workplace and educational settings. Kimberly has experience using a wide range of both low tech and high technology and works with students, educators, counselors, employers, service providers, and agencies and colleges to implement AT to facilitate success in education, work and daily activities. She has worked on multiple federal and state projects implementing AT in schools and in the workplace, and in aiding persons of all ages to enable participation and independence.
She is the Project Coordinator for the WNY TRAID program operated by New York State and takes part in coordinating outreach presentations. Kimberly coordinates AT development for pre-service students and professionals throughout New York State. She has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Education, and has several years’ experience in the field of AT.
