Michelle earned her Master’s in business administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York., and a Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.
She also attended the American Marketing Association's School of Marketing Research at Notre Dame University. She has served on the board of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the Product Development Management Association (PDMA).
Currently, Michelle is leading the Prospective Case Study involving NIDILRR technology grantees. She is also involved in the development of the Technology Transfer Planning Template, Industry Profiles and the Need to Knowledge variant models. Prior to these projects, she was involved with the creation of the Need to Knowledge Model and the compilation of supporting evidence behind each stage and step.
Michelle's research interests include understanding the technology transfer needs of NIDILRR Grantees, the challenges they face and how they overcome those challenges. In addition, she seeks to uncover methods in which Grantees may better connect with potential manufacturing partners to increase the likelihood of technology transfer.
