Does Prototype Invention demonstrate sufficient value according to the preliminary assessments, SLOT analysis and justification? If yes, continue to III. Innovation Phase (Stage & Gate 6): which itself has two options: 1) Build/code finished Instrument/Tool to required performance specifications and market for sale; 2) Create a Do-It-Yourself kit requiring assembly and testing and market for sale. If the decision is to not proceed, terminate project and apply KT principles.
NOTE: If more than one year has passed since Stage 2 was completed, refresh the scoping review to identify new competing Instrument/Tools.
